Dephine Nkasa and Imke vervaet will fight a duel for the fastest 200m and perhaps a new Belgian record? Come and cheer both to amazing times!

Rani Rosius - 60m

Rani Rosius ran a very fast 11.18 on 100m last summer, so she became 2nd of all times in Belgium after Kim Gevaert.
On 60m her PB is 7.15 of last year, hopefully she will improve this in Ghent?

Elise Van Der Elst - 1500m

In 2019, Elise took silver at the European U23 Championships in the 1500m. Two years later, she became European 1500m indoor champion. After a trainer change and some injury problems, she is all the way back. This summer she already went to 4.05.26 and this winter she already became Belgian short cross champion. On to a great performance at the IFAM!

Eliott Crestan and Tibo De Smet - 800m

Eliott Crestan ran an incredible 1.44.24 on 800m last year, so he became the second of all times in Belgium after the legendary Ivo Van Damme! Tibo De Smet improved the Belgian record lasy year indoor with an amazing 1.45.04.

In Gent they will participate both, with perhaps a new Belgian record at the end.

Ruben Verheyden and Pieter Sisk

IFAM added a 1000m to the programme, where we could get a nice duel between Ruben Verheyden and Pieter Sisk and hopefully a new Belgian record! Ruben ran to a very fast 3.33.77 on 1500m and Pieter 1.45.82 on 800m.

Jolien Boumkwo - shot put

Jolien broke the Belgian record in shot put at 17m24 at our IFAM meeting last year. On the current Road to Paris ranking, she is 27th and there are 32 places. So the Olympic dream is alive and well! Will you come and support her?

Kobe Vleminckx - 60m

Kobe Vleminckx is our fastest 100m runner the last 20 years. In 2022 he ran 10.25 to win the Belgian Championship, one week later, he confirmed with 10.26 at the Night of Athletics in Heusden-Zolder. Indoor he ran last 2 years 6.65, so the Entry Standard for the Europeans 6.63 is coming close! Good luck Kobe!!
